Legnica: an excellent region for biomethane

The Legnica region offers a strong foundation for the development of one or two biomethane projects:

  • strong agricultural base with continuous availability of organic residues
  • sufficient arable land for the use of digestate as organic fertilizer
  • proximity to the city of Legnica, providing access to industrial services, maintenance and logistics support
  • access to the national gas transmission network operated by GAZ-SYSTEM
  • availability of skilled and semi-skilled workforce
  • good transport connections via regional and national roads

For each potential project location, the following aspects are carefully assessed:

  • constructive cooperation with the municipality and interest in sustainable local development
  • compliance with spatial planning policies and permitting requirements
  • sufficient distance from residential areas and sensitive functions
  • good access via main roads, avoiding village traffic as much as possible
  • possibility to connect to the gas grid, electricity and other utilities
  • integration into the rural landscape and surrounding environment

The Legnica region combines agriculture, infrastructure and local cooperation in a way that supports careful biomethane project development.

Over the past years, working relationships have been established with local stakeholders and authorities in the region. These relationships support transparent development, step-by-step planning and early dialogue with municipalities, farmers and residents.

Our aim is to develop one or two carefully selected projects that fit the local environment and create lasting value for the region.
